SAP Basis refers to the administration of the SAP system which incorporates configuration and installation, load balancing, and the performance of SAP applications which are running on Java stack and SAP ABAP. This includes the maintenance of various services associated with the database, operating system, application and web servers in SAP system landscape and beginning and stopping the system.
